Downtown Jacksonville Art Walk returned on a picture perfect night for April’s First Wednesday event in City Center. Visitors strolled through James Weldon Johnson Park for food trucks, local vendors, and artists.
Main Stage entertainment included live music by The Groove Coalition, poetry performances, and an open mic hosted by Hope at Hand, Inc. from 7–8 p.m.
On Laura Street, attendees shopped vintage and art at the Vagabond Flea pop-up and explored the Duval Block Auction by Limitless Wolf.
Additional programming includes:
Jacksonville Public Library hosted the opening reception for The Art Center Cooperative, Inc.’s exhibition by Teresa Cook, “See Jacksonville: Past and Present” (5:30–8 p.m.)
MOCA Jacksonville offered free admission, a cash bar, and local vendors
The Volstead featured an Art Walk Cocktail Class at 5 p.m. plus indoor vendors and artists
In Downtown’s nightlife district, The Elbow:
The Jessie showcased the “160 Years of Stories” photo exhibit
The Petite hosted the opening reception of “Bless Your Sole”
Hardwicks Bar featured a 5K Fun Run at 6:30 p.m. and live music event “SOUNDCHECK ft. Babe Honey” at 7 p.m.
